NHL Prop Picks: First & Anytime Goal Scorer
Slam Dunk Bets added hockey for the 2026-27 NHL season. Our models project the chance that each skater scores a goal, and scores the first one, in every game. Those projections are compared to sportsbook prices on game days, and the edges post to Discord with recommended unit sizes, the same way our NBA, WNBA and MLB picks do. Every recommended bet is graded from the first alert.

Track record: grading in progress
NHL picks are too new to have a season to report. Every recommended bet is logged and graded programmatically, and the running totals post to Discord daily, so subscribers can see the record as it builds. We will publish the full season table here, by market, with wagers, net units and ROI on units staked, once the 2026-27 season is complete. Until then the graded record for every market is in the Slam Dunk Dashboard, and the season totals for every league with a full season are in the FAQ.
We report every league on the same basis: regular season plus playoffs, voided plays excluded, with wager sizes standardized so the average recommended bet is about one unit.
What an alert looks like
Alerts post to Discord grouped by game, sorted from largest edge to smallest, with every qualifying book, its price and the recommended units on each line. 🚨 marks a new play, 🚀 a new daily-best price, ⬇️ a play that is off its peak. The same plays, with every book’s price and line movement, are in the Slam Dunk Dashboard.
When will the NHL track record be published?
After the 2026-27 season, once there is a full season of graded bets to report. The running record is visible to subscribers in Discord and the Dashboard in the meantime.
How are goal scorer bets graded?
A first goal scorer bet wins only if the player scores the game’s first goal; an anytime goal scorer bet wins if the player scores at any point, including overtime at most books. Shootout goals usually do not count, and most books void the bet if the player is scratched, but grading differs by book, so check the market rules where you bet.
